create YOUR OWN wedding mood
Planning a wedding involves a lot of different vendors and communication. It can be hard to communicate your overall vision for your big day, which is where mood boards come in!
This super easy DIY project will guide you in creating your very own mood board!
All you need is 9 inspiration photos and access to canva!
Step 1: Open the Canva Template for Instagram Post
When you open canva you will see many options, select the "Instagram Post" Option.
Step 2: Find the 3x3 Grid
Click the "Elements" tab on the left side of your screen and scroll down to find the grids. Select "see all". Now scroll down until you find the 3x3 grid. It's organized by number of boxes so you have to scroll for a while! Click on the correct grid to add it to your design.
Step 3: Resize your design.
Resize and center your design. You want space left at the bottom for the next step!
Step 4: Add your color boxes
Return to your elements menu on the left and add one square. Reshape the square so it fits under your image. Next, copy and paste the square for each color you want included.
Step 4: Add your photos
To the left of the screen under the upload tab, you will be able to upload your folders. We pulled from our pinterest board and screenshots from our phone! Once you've uploaded your pictures, drag them to the square you want them to go in.
Step 5: Add your colors.
When you select any of your squares, a grey box will appear in the top left corner of the screen. Click this box and you will see a ton of color options! Don't get overwhelmed, we're going straight to the category called "Photo Colors". Select See all and select your first color. Repeat this for the rest of the boxes until they are all full! There is your color scheme!
And there you have it! A finished mood board! We hope this will help you as you plan your special day! Share your finished mood board with us on Insta for a chance to be featured on our story!
